Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center is a 61 bed skilled and long term care nursing facility that has been family owned and operated since 1976. This beautiful facility is located on a campus that includes Leisure Gardens, Leisure Village Independent Living Apartments, and the Aroostook Medical Center. Our mission is to provide individualized nursing care while maintaining residents’ dignity and self-respect. We focus on promoting optimal physical and psycho-social health and helping residents maintain relationships with their families and the community. We strive to return residents to the highest level of independence, whether it be at home or in a residential living environment. We offer around-the-clock skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapy, and access to nearby physicians and specialists. Our activities program is designed to enrich the lives of our residents. Additionally, we have a 14 bed wing specially designed for residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.
